STRATEGIC RETIREMENT PLANNING
The definition of strategy is developing a careful plan or method for achieving a particular goal over a long period of time.
This is the first phase of the process at McKague Financial. We want to know:
• What retirement looks like to you and your family?
• What do you want your legacy to be?
Through this discovery process, we get to know you and collaboratively figure out what are the best plans, products and solutions that will help you accomplish your vision.
MEET GINA MCKAGUE
Gina McKague’s life is built on faith and heart. As a mother and successful career woman, Gina leads with her faith followed by her connection and compassion for others. “I drive myself every day to improve upon yesterday. With the mindset of being a better person, parent, sister and friend, I am a better advocate for my clients and leader in the financial and retirement arena.”
Like most Americans, Gina works daily to find the perfect balance between work and family. Gina regularly contributes to the financial curriculum where her daughter attends school. “The successful financial mindset begins in the formative years. Learning about credit, balancing a check book, and preparing for the future should start to be taught by middle school, if not earlier. I’m amazed when I hear parents wait for their kids to learn it in high school or even college. After all, if a college student gets a credit card and doesn’t understand the repercussions of bad credit, they could go down a very dangerous path.”
For over two decades, Gina has been helping generations of families successfully prepare for the future. “My clients are so much more to me than a business transaction. They truly are my family,” she proudly states. “For years we have hosted annual client events outside of the business arena and sometimes I wonder if I look forward to it more than they do. It really gives us time to catch up with our clients and hear how their year has been.”
"As a retirement mentor, I am charged with helping clients turn their dreams into a reality. A reality has to start somewhere. We all need to dream," Gina says. “My dream is to tour the countryside of Italy for a few months when I retire. Although I must admit, I have a hard time envisioning myself retired. I’m very fortunate to love my career.”
Gina regularly contributes to publications including US World and News, Chase.com, Yahoo Finance, and LifeHealthPro. Gina also speaks across the country to other financial professionals on the power of the female audience.
